4.16.06 - King Wilkie Plays With Ralph Stanley
Well, two shows with the legendary Ralph Stanley unfolded in 24 hours and it simply doesn�t get much better than that. Dr Stanley and the entire cast of Clinch Mountain Boys
were very kind and complimentary. Everyone enjoyed talking with Jack Cook and hearing him tell stories from his 37 years of playing with the band. The man is an
inspiration. Interestingly, Town Hall doesn�t look anything like in the movie �A Mighty Wind,� (perhaps it was filmed somewhere else?) But to our great pleasure, the audiences both
nights were enthusiastic and raucous in their appreciation for King Wilkie.)
