10.22.06 - greetings people

Following a curious series of events King Wilkie spent an entire evening as residents in a former high school turned cultural center near Hartford Connecticut. After the show, the night simply carried on without any need for "breakdown" or "packing up"; setting up camp right at the spot of the gig where at our disposal we had a stage, a sound and light system, a gymnasium, a grand piano, kitchen stocked with wine beer and spirits, a costume wardrobe, a rack of art supplies and vintage board games, etc. And so we played and played and played. Music, cards, basketball...for one glorious evening we reveled in being as loud and obnoxious as we wanted without fear of being threatened or evicted. This is how touring should be.
